Spacepod™ Fwd Opening Upgrade Kit Hardware Only

The DART Spacepod™ is a versatile cargo expansion solution that increases the capacity of the side baggage compartments by 100 lbs per side. The Spacepod™ is lightweight and is easily re-installed and removed. It also doubles as a work platform and features a non-skid surface for additional safety. The Spacepod™ is available with a forward opening door that features an automatic door opener that dampens door swing and supports the door in the open position. Spacepods™ can now be installed on aircraft equipped with OEM sliding doors. The sliding door, modified with the DART Door Hinge Modification Kit, becomes a forward hinging door which does not interfere with the Spacepod™. Additionally, the modified forward hinging door eases passenger loading and alleviates door track and roller inspection requirements and costly repairs. *Modifies upward swinging Spacepod™ doors to swing Fwd when opening. Automatic door opener provides smooth, dampened swing and supports door in open position. 1 kit modifies 1 door. Price is per side.
