Description
The Cable Cutters System provides a means of protecting the helicopter during a wire strike by providing the capability to cut a cable or wire before catastrophic damage occurs. The system is designed to reduce the possibility of a cable or wire entering the cockpit and to reduce the chance of flight control damage. This design has proven to be effective even during multiple wire strikes. The system incorporates both an upper and lower cutter assemblies and each is designed with high strength cutting blades.
*Includes removable provisions for upper & lower cable cutter and fixed provisions for upper & lower cutter. Includes composite roof reinforcement material (i.e. for aircraft that are not pre AMS OP-3560). Compatible on EC130B4 only. Completes one aircraft.
