DART Aerospace's Lightweight Heli-Utility-Basket™ provides the same load capacity as the standard and low profile baskets but with a 42% reduction in weight, a more compact design and a rappel/passenger friendly installation location. The lightweight basket is ideal for operations with weight limitations and lower cargo requirements. The basket is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, coated with a high-gloss, scratch-resistant white finish. Enhanced safety with a simple self-locking handle that assures lid closure and secures cargo during flight. Ease of use with gas spring to assist when opening and closing the lid. The basket features a flat heavy duty stainless steel lid that doubles as a step or as a work platform and is attached using a robust hinge system.
*300 lbs/136 kg load capacity. Mounts to STA 129.00 & STA 155.06 existing hardpoints & STA 177 customer installed hardpoints. Includes rappel deflector & additional hardpoints. VFR ops only. Compatible on high & extended height landing gear. Compatible with Heli-Access-Steps™. Not compatible with low gear. Not compatible with floats
