DART Heavy Duty Wearplates are designed for enhanced Protection for Demanding Operations. While OEM wearplates are engineered for durability under standard operating conditions but training flights, utility missions, and run-on landings impose significantly greater wear demands. Additionally, operations involving high gross weight landings on rocky or abrasive surfaces can result in substantial damage to skidtubes when using standard protection.

To address these challenges, DART offers Heavy Duty Wearplates specifically designed for rigorous applications. These wearplates are fully compatible with OEM skidtubes and are engineered for quick and secure installation using clamp mounts and a fastener on each saddle. This configuration not only simplifies replacement but also prevents rotational movement of the wearplate on the skidtube.

Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, DART’s Heavy Duty Wearplates feature a full-length stainless steel wear bar with generously overlaid, highly wear-resistant tungsten carbide. Installation is completed with a corrosion-resistant compound between the skidtube and the wearplates, eliminating the need for additional gaskets or sealants.
