Helicopter pilots count on DART Aerospace crosstubes for safety, durability, and compatibility. Our crosstubes have been designed to be compatible with both DART Round-I-Beam™ and OEM Skidtubes and are easily installed using a thru-bolt system rather than with short bolts into anchor nuts. The crosstubes are manufactured by means of an environmentally friendly turning process and utilize clamp-on stainless steel supports to avoid rivet holes in high stress regions of the crosstube. DART crosstubes are not life-limited; they are to be replaced on-condition according to a max spread criteria. Mid Height Crosstubes are ideal for EMS operations. Lowered height and absence of a full-length step allows the medics to more easily load and unload patients, reducing the incidence of back injuries. Mid Height Crosstubes save weight by eliminating the need for full-length steps. *Measures 20.5" from ground to bottom of crosstube. Compatible with DART/OEM/AAI Standard Skidtubes.
