Description
The Bell 412 uses 6 floats (2 forward, 2 middle and 2 Aft). The right and left forward and middle floats (20715) are interchangeable and the right and left Aft floats (20714) are interchangeable. The forward or middle floats consists of 4 separate air-holding chambers. The chambers are separated by bulkheads made of the same urethane coated nylon as the tube to minimize the loss of buoyancy in the event of puncture or tear. Each chamber contains an inlet check valve for inflation by the cylinder/valve assembly, a topping valve for manual inflation and a pressure relief valve (PRV) to prevent over-pressurization.
