The Tri-Bag System is the first integrated survival solution for helicopters. In addition to providing the most stable float platform in the industry, the kit is available with 2 externally mounted, 6-man, twin tube, full canopy liferafts at a weight of only 169 lbs. This system frees up valuable passenger space because liferafts do not have to be stowed in the cabin where they are difficult to reach and sometimes cost operators access to a seat. The system is also designed with aircraft recovery in mind and has the ability to be towed at approximately 10 knots of speed. The system is designed to replace the OEM single bags and cylinders while using the existing flotation landing gear. The system was designed with the operator in mind and takes approximately 30 man hours to install. An optional automatic electrical inflation system is now available. 2 water activated switches are installed on the underside of the fuselage to provide an automatic back-up to the pilot operated mechanical system. *Kit includes Fwd, Mid & Aft Tri-Bag Floats. System installation and maintenance requires 606.7803 pull cable test fixture (sold separately). Price is for complete float system.
- Will be compliant with EASA OPS requirements
- Also available 606.7803 Float System Pull Cable Test Tool
